This Privacy Policy describes how Zonable ("Zonable", "we", "us", or "our"), developed by Codinga, collects, uses, and shares information when you install and use our Shopify application.

What information we collect

When you install Zonable, we collect and store the following information:

Store information

• Your Shopify store domain (for example, your-store.myshopify.com)
• Your subscription plan (Free, Starter, or Pro)
• Installation date

Account information (provided by Shopify during authentication)

• Store owner name and email address
• Shopify session data required for app functionality

App-generated content

• Projects you create (scenes and artboard configurations)
• Map objects (shapes, pins, and their styling properties)
• Tooltip content and settings
• References to Shopify products you link within tooltips (product ID and cached product data such as title, price, image, and handle)
• Background images you upload through the Shopify Files API

What information we do not collect

• We do not collect personal information from your customers (store visitors)
• We do not use cookies for tracking purposes on your storefront
• We do not collect analytics, heatmaps, or browsing behavior data
• We do not use third-party tracking pixels or advertising tools

How we use your information

We use the collected information solely to:

• Authenticate your Shopify store and maintain your session
• Provide the Zonable editor and storefront widget functionality
• Store and display your scenes
• Manage your subscription plan and enforce plan limits
• Display cached Shopify product information within tooltips

How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or store data with third parties. Your data is only shared with:

• Shopify: as required for app authentication, billing, and product data access through Shopify APIs
• Hosting provider: our application infrastructure provider, solely for the purpose of running the application

Data storage and security

• All project data is stored in a secure database
• All data exchanged with our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
• Authentication is handled through Shopify's OAuth system
• Access tokens are stored securely and scoped to the minimum permissions required

Data retention and deletion

• Your data is retained for as long as the app is installed on your store
• When you uninstall Zonable, your session data is automatically deleted
• You may delete individual projects at any time through the app interface
• To request complete deletion of all your data, contact us at support@zonable.app

GDPR and privacy compliance

Zonable implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks and responds to them automatically:

• Customer data requests: if a customer requests their data, we respond through Shopify's customers/data_request process. Because we do not collect customer personal data, there is typically no data to return.
• Customer data erasure: requests received through customers/redact are honored automatically.
• Shop data erasure: when Shopify sends ashop/redact request after uninstallation, we delete the store's data from our systems.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we store about your store
• Delete your projects and data through the app
• Request a complete data export or deletion by contacting us
• Uninstall the app at any time, which removes your session data

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
